What exactly is Search Engine Optimization (SEO)? To most of us, we think that having a web presence is enough, but it's not. What's the point of having a website if no one can find it? Blue Monkey Media, Inc.'s program is designed to promote your company be getting your website to the top of the search engines - Yahoo, Google, Excite, etc. If potential customers are looking for the services you offer, you need to make sure they can find you. Your website will no longer be buried in the masses of other websites, but instead will rise above the rest and become a contender in the battle for the first page on the search engines. The Program

The first thing Blue Monkey developers do, is evaluate the website design and make sure all of the elements are present to give you great searchability. If BMMI created your website, 90% of this process is already complete. An important part of this first step is also deciding what search phrases you'd like to focus on in the search engine race.

After finding your keyword phrases, we then submit your site to approximately 270 search engines and directories. Why only 270, you may ask yourself? Well, there are 1000's of search engines out there, but only around 270 that are worth-while, non spam search engines. By submitting to all of the search engines, you'd receive more unwanted email spam and advertising solicitations, than by just submitting to the primary 270.

Blue Monkey Media, doesn't just submit your keywords, we then track the changes in your ranking. Analysis of the trends and changes then allow us to tweak your website to ensure that you stay on top of the search engine rankings. This process then continues for the entire search engine optimization period, which can be three, six, or twelve months.

SEO Reports

Upon request, we will send you reports reflecting your exact standing on the search engines. This keeps you up to date on the results that we will be achieving for your website, and lets you see the improvements in a graphical matter. Once your optimization period has ended, we will then sit down with you and explain what the reports mean for you and your website, allowing you to make a decision whether you want to continue the process or not.

Tracking Website Rank Trends

We track trends in the ways that search engines are ranking websites, then make small changes to text and source code where applicable. These changes done by BMMI, are rarely noticeable, but will make a big difference in how search engines rank the importance of the information on your website.
