Request For A Proposal
Submitting a website proposal can be confusing, but be assured that
Blue Monkey Media, Inc., is here to help you, every step of the way.
Here are a few tips and ideas to take into consideration when
submitting a request for proposal.
Keep it Simple
If you know what you want in a website, feel free to be as detailed
as you'd like. If you don't know what type of website you'd like,
keep your request simple. That way, our designers and developers can
suggest ideas for you, based on our knowledge and years of experience.
List Your Goals And Objectives
If you have no idea where to start to create your website, ask yourself
what your main objectives are for the site. They might be: to sell
products on the web, to provide support to existing customers, to allow
customers to view detailed product information, to allow potential
customers to learn more about your company ideals, to offer information,
or just simply to contact you. Beginning with these goals, we can offer
support as to how to create your website primarily for you and your
company's needs.
Time Requirements
If you have a specific time requirement that you need your website done by,
make sure to include it in your proposal. If you do not have one, you can
let us know that as well.
An Example Request for Proposal
Your request can be as simple as:
"Our business/organization is looking for a company to help us create a website.
The website will need to showcase our products, allow customers to find detailed
product information, allow customers to contact us, and we want to be able to
update our product showcase without having to program a website. We also want
a flash into to the website."
Basically, keep in mind that if you want a specific question addressed, make
sure to ask us to address it in your proposal.
